He is Risen. Now Go!

What a powerful Easter Sunday we shared! The sanctuary was full, the Spirit was present, and hearts were stirred by the good news: “Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; He has risen!” (Luke 24:5-6). We are an Easter People—marked by resurrection hope, and now called to live it out.

This Sunday, we don’t just come to church—we go. It’s Big Serve Sunday! After a short time of prayer and commissioning, we will scatter across our community to serve with compassion and joy. As Jesus said in John 20:21, “As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.”

This is who we are. A people not only redeemed—but sent.

And we’ll keep walking in that truth beginning May 4th, as we start a new series titled Sent: Living the Mission. Each week, we’ll explore how Jesus’ followers became His witnesses, empowered and mobilized for mission.

Let’s keep living as Easter People—people who go where Jesus sends, love like He loves, and carry His hope into every corner of our world.
