Karen Williams
WORSHIP & CHILDREN’S PASTOR
Pastor Karen Williams has served in Children’s Ministries since 2009. Karen earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Wright State University and became a member of One Hope Church of the Nazarene in 2019. Karen has served as the One Hope Kids Pastor since March of 2020, served as Administrative Pastor from 2021-2023, and is now serving in both Kids and Worship since January of 2023. Karen earned her certification in Ministry Preparation through Nazarene Bible College in 2024 and has hopes to be ordained in 2026.
Hannah Walker
One Hope Learning Center DIRECTOR
Hannah Walker has served at One Hope Learning Center since February of 2021. She began as a teacher, moved into the assistant director role, and now serves as the director of OHLC. In January of 2021, she married her husband, Garrett. In 2025 she earned her Child Development Associate in Infant Toddler. She and Garrett have a son, Leo, who was born in September of 2025. Her passion for God is evident as she helps to bridge the gap between our local congregation and One Hope Learning Center in serving God and loving others.
Bob Flint
Interim pastor
Pastor Bob Flint joined One Hope as Interim Pastor in September 2025. Though officially retired as a Nazarene leader, he continues to serve through Life Through the Word Ministries, a nonprofit he founded in 2004 to help churches experience renewal. He has dedicated his life to studying and teaching God’s Word, with education from Mount Vernon Nazarene University, Ashland Theological Seminary, and Winebrenner Seminary. Bob and his wife Charlene, married for 47 years, are both MVNU graduates. They have two children, Eric and Charissa, and five grandchildren, whom they love to spoil. In his spare time, Pastor Bob enjoys following the Ohio State Buckeyes and remains a loyal—if often tested—Cleveland sports fan.
Markus Price
Church Secretary; NDI president
Markus Price has a long history with One Hope. He attended from 1994-2007 prior to being relocated for his job, but returned to the congregation in 2022. Mark and Heather were married at One Hope in 2000. They have two children together: Eliya and Jess. Mark’s passion is becoming more like Jesus and creating a community where each person becomes more like Jesus every day. Mark has served as the NDI President and church board secretary since May of 2024.
Carrie Ward
Women’s Ministries President
Carrie Ward started attending One Hope in 2019 after returning to Ohio to be closer to family. She has been a member of the Women's Ministries Council since 2019, has been serving as the Women's Ministries Director since 2022, and became the Community Care Champion in 2024. She has been married to Matthew Ward since 2001 and they have 4 beautiful children at home, two of which have special needs. Her children are: Liberty, Lincoln, Leighton, and Leland. She is currently studying for her certificate in Ministry Preparation through MVNU.
Tiffany Moehl
Admin Assistant
Tiffany Moehl is a dedicated and experienced church leader with a long history of service within faith communities. Over the years, she has made a lasting impact in various church environments, offering guidance, leadership, and a commitment to spiritual growth. Known for her compassionate heart and strong organizational skills, Tiffany has played a pivotal role in fostering fellowship, empowering individuals, and cultivating an atmosphere of service and outreach within the church. Tiffany became a member of One Hope in August of 2025 and is excited to see what the future holds.
Julie Pottenger
NMI President
Julie Pottenger serves as our NMI Chairperson, keeping missions central at One Hope. She also helps in the sound booth, serves on the Church Board, and leads our annual Crisis Care Kit efforts. Beyond our church, she coordinates Crisis Care Kits across the Northwest Ohio District, multiplying their impact. Julie and her husband, David, live in Troy with their two cats, Kreacher and Bellatrix.
Denise Hooper
Admin Assistant
Denise Hooper has faithfully served at One Hope Church of the Nazarene in many roles, including leading Adult and Children’s Sunday School, serving three years as NMI President, and participating in the choir and praise band as a singer and drummer. Denise directed the community youth center Spikes for two years and has served for decades on the Church Board, including one year as Secretary. Currently, Denise serves as an Office Administrator.
Greg Moehl
Teen Ministries Leader
Greg has served as the Youth Leader at One Hope Church of the Nazarene since June of 2025. He has been involved in youth ministry since 2015 and became a member of One Hope in September of 2025. A proud Army Veteran, he brings dedication, leadership, and a heart for mentoring the next generation in their walk with Christ.
Venisa Robinson
Admin Assistant; Church Treasurer
Venisa and her husband Harold made One Hope their church home in 2010. She has served in Children's ministries as a Sunday School teacher and Wee Church teacher. Venisa has also served on the church board and is an active member of the praise team. She is currently serving as the church Treasurer and helping with admin duties. You will also find her on Tuesdays assisting her husband with Salvation Army which has a service unit here at One Hope.
Stan Ward
Congregational Care Pastor
Pastor Stan Ward serves as the Congregational Care Pastor at One Hope Church of the Nazarene, bringing over 42 years of pastoral experience to our church family. He holds degrees from both Mount Vernon Nazarene University and Olivet Nazarene University. Married to his wife, Cindy, for 54 years, they share four children and seven grandchildren who are a cherished part of their lives. In his current role, Pastor Stan ministers to those who are homebound, provides ongoing care and connection for our senior adults, and offers support with a compassionate and faithful heart.
