Strength in the Waiting

“But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint"— Isaiah 40:31

Waiting can be one of the hardest seasons of life. Waiting can sometimes feel uncomfortable. Whether you are waiting for healing, restoration, financial breakthrough, direction, peace, or answers to prayer, the waiting season often stretches your faith in ways nothing else can.

We live in a world that pushes speed with quick results, instant answers, and immediate success. But God often works in the waiting. It is in those quiet moments that He strengthens our character, deepens our trust, and reminds us that His timing is always better than our own.

Waiting on God is not passive, it is active faith. It is trusting while you wait.  It means that you are continuing to pray when you haven’t seen the breakthrough yet. It is choosing faith over fear. It is believing that even when nothing seems to be happening, God is still working behind the scenes.

Sometimes God delays not to deny us, but to prepare us. His timing is never accidental. What feels like a delay to us is often divine preparation in His plan.

If you are in a waiting season today, do not lose heart. God sees you. He has not forgotten your prayers, your tears, or your faithfulness. What He promised, He is still able to fulfill.

Keep trusting. Keep praying. Keep believing.
