A Nazarene Compassionate Ministries Update
Please join us in praying for communities impacted by Hurricane Isaias.
On Friday, October 9, Hurricane Isaias made landfall near Destin, Florida, as a Category 2 storm with sustained winds of 105 mph. The hurricane brought destructive winds, heavy rainfall, storm surge, and widespread flooding to communities along the Gulf Coast.
In the Pensacola and Pace areas of Florida, several Nazarene churches have reported property damage. Local church leaders are assessing the impact of the storm and identifying needs in their surrounding communities as they prepare to serve their neighbors in the days ahead.
As recovery efforts begin, please pray for families navigating loss and uncertainty, for the safety of those responding, and for local Nazarene churches as they seek opportunities to share Christ’s love through compassionate care.
Through Nazarene Compassionate Ministries, local churches are equipped to respond to disasters, meet immediate needs, and walk alongside communities through recovery.
