He Has Faith in You

Sometimes when God calls us to do things, it can seem impossible. This can be something as little as inviting a friend to church, or to preach to congregations of hundreds. This can be scary! For some, even being in front of a group of people is spine chilling. God calling us to do things could be scary for multiple reasons, whether that's the change in it, or just the fact that what He calls you to do is completely different than anything you have done before. It can seem like God is just throwing us under the bus especially when what He calls us to do is scary. But God wouldn't call us to do something that's bad for us, even if it seems like it would be. He always does it for our good. He only wants what is best for us in the long run! 2 Timothy 1:7 says, “For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.” God gives us the power to do great things in His name! So do not be discouraged when He calls you to serve. Be reminded that He has faith in you just like you have faith in Him! So when going through your day to day life, let God work through you with the power he has given you to serve.
