A Note from Pastor Lou
Dear One Hope Church of the Nazarene,
Grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the love, kindness, and support you have shown my family since we moved to Ohio. From the very beginning, your prayers, encouragement, and warm welcome have meant so much to us. Moving to a new place always brings many adjustments, but your care and generosity have made this season a true blessing. I thank God for each of you and for the way you have received us with open hearts.
As a church family, you have reminded me of the beauty of the body of Christ. Your fellowship, friendship, and willingness to walk alongside us have been a great source of strength and encouragement. I feel blessed to be part of a congregation that shows the love of Jesus in such genuine and meaningful ways.
Last Sunday (May 3), I had the privilege of introducing our new board members to the church. I am grateful for their willingness to serve and their desire to be used by God for His glory. Please continue to pray for them as we partner together in ministry. Pray that the Lord will give them wisdom, unity, humility, and discernment as they help provide leadership and direction for the life of the church.
Please also remember our church staff in your prayers. They continue to serve faithfully in many areas of ministry, often behind the scenes, giving their time, gifts, and energy for the sake of God’s kingdom. Pray that the Lord will strengthen and encourage them, renew their joy, and bless the work of their hands as they minister to our church family and community.
As many of you know, the discipleship pathway has now been created and soft-launched. I am thankful for this important step forward in our church's life. My prayer is that this pathway will strengthen our culture of discipleship, encourage spiritual growth, and lead people of all ages and stages into a deeper walk with Christ. I pray that it will not only help individuals grow in faith but also contribute to the health, unity, and growth of One Hope Church of the Nazarene.
Church family, as we look ahead, I want to encourage you to move forward with hope and confidence—not in our own strength, but in the faithfulness of God. The days ahead will bring both opportunities and challenges, but we can trust that the Lord is leading us as we seek to follow Him together. Let us continue to trust in Him, listen for His voice, and serve with willing hearts here in Tipp City, Ohio. Thank you for your continued prayers, support, and partnership in ministry. It is a joy and privilege to serve alongside you, and I am excited for what God has in store for One Hope Church of the Nazarene. I look forward with great anticipation to all He will do in and through our church family in the days to come.
May the Lord bless you richly and continue to guide us all as we walk together in faith.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Pastor Lou
